I see your bloody thoughts around me
Your mind is so locked, so grey
I like how you join this plan
Our plan of self-destruction
Let me tell you a story
How full of death we are
How your time was set before you were born
How your soul was taken and torn
Hey dead man, do you still need your mind?
The fate is coming back for your stolen dreams
Hey you, the one drinking your own blood
There’s no need to say how right you are
Lay down
There’s one grave for you
I promise the world won’t miss you at all
Choose the easiest way
Choose for your greed
Close your eyes and die while you sleep
Join the majority
Be safe and prepared
Let them know your every step
Become invisible to yourself
Sleep tight in your world of cliché
Spend your time as machine
Just know that you are already dead
Your soul gone and betrayed
Hey dead man, do you still need your mind?
The fate is coming back for your stolen dreams
Hey you, the one drinking your own blood
There’s no need to say how right you are

Very late to this, but I'm glad I found it. The very brand of melodic death/doom I savor so much. Soaring leads, haunting riffs, and melancholic vocals. Everything I hold dearest in music. Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass)

A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue. Matt Richardson

There's something about Immensity's take on the genre that is far more immersive and emotive than average, and it lies in those lengthy, dynamic tracks that feel like they're telling a story with their melodies and sound manipulation. Looking for a potential breath of fresh air in death doom? This album may be for you.
